A study tour/excursion was organized for the participants to an anaerobic digestion plants, the EU-LIFE projects results and to a demonstration on compost technologies at the Riga landfill. - Details will be supplemented

Study tour include visiting of three facilities:
1) "Getlini Eko" Ltd, ( www.getlini.lv/eng/getlini_eko ) Riga City landfill - introduction with biogas collection system and power production plant
2) "Meliorators-J" Ltd, small composting area at the landfill site
3) "Conti Chemical Company" Ltd, ( http://www.kompost.lv ) Sewage sludge composting facility. There is intended demonstration of "ALLU SM Screener Crusher" in operation too.
