The Annual Meeting 2011 has decided about a new ECN Membership fee structure. The new Membership fees will be in force in 2012.

1) The fee schedule for Biowaste Organisations (BIOO) is based on the current published waste statitics of the EU (EUROSTAT 2010). 30 to 40 % of municial solid waste is biowaste. For the calculation of fees 30 % of municipal waste is taken into account (1.000 t biowaste/a * 0,001 Euro). In some cases (like implementing of biowaste management or separate collection in countries) the fee can be increased in 3 steps (25 %´, 50 %, 75 %) in the first years with an annual revision of the development by the Board
2) The fees of Commercial Organisations (CO) are based on the amount of employees.
