Scope

The scope of WG3 is to give an overview of different options for biological treatment of biowaste, with related role, performances, optimisation, conditions, and limitations, and also an investigation into good/best practice for separate collection. For this issue papers and info sheets on items like operational and economic evidence of separate collection across Europe, beneficial use of compost and digestate, integrated management of biowaste as a guidance for policy making are worked out.
