Since its formation in 2002, ECN has regularly published national status reports submitted by member country representatives. Although the information contained in these reports provided a useful shnapshot of the state of bio-waste management in each individual country, they contained data presented in different ways, making like-for-like comparisons difficult. This Status Report is a first step forwards providing a pan-European status summary.
