On 25 June 2019 the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR) (EU) 2019/1009 has been published in the Official Journal of the EU. The FPR will enter into force on the 15 of July 2019.
This regulation includes EU-wide end-of-waste criteria for compost and digestate which can be used in organic fertilisers, soil improvers and growing media. After the implementation phase of three years CE-marked soil improvers and growing media can be placed on the Union market.
