The BIOGAS Convention, the conference part of our annual event, prepares for the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of the usual live conference in Hanover, this year the conference will take place virtually in December.
Currently, the Events team is working under high pressure on the digitisation of the BIOGAS Convention 2020, on new lectures and discussion panels. The trade association wants to offer all active members of the biogas industry a conference where they can obtain the latest information on EEG, energy and climate policy, water protection, legal issues, technical requirements, biowaste, DüV, AwSV, etc. as usual. There will also be plenty of opportunities for exchange, from discussions with the experts and the virtual biogas meeting with other participants to surveys or feedback rounds. There will also be an exciting programme for our international visitors. Whether field reports from different countries or information on legal developments and exciting innovations – participants can join in worldwide with just a few clicks!
And of course the annual general meeting is also integrated into the virtual concept.
