Day 1 is dedicated to political, legal, and technological framework conditions in Block 1, including the EU energy and raw materials strategy, current developments in biowaste recycling, and the potential of BECCU and BECCS in Germany.
Block 2 presents practical aspects such as the innovative utilization of fermentation products, the determination of odor emissions and immissions, the international lighthouse project “Biomethane Plant in Strzelin,” and the use of fermentation products in organic farming.
On the second day of the event, Block 3 will focus on safety, technology, and documentation, quality and environmental management systems, cybersecurity, and the status quo of Nabisy and UDB compliance.
Block 4 will focus on innovations and future prospects, including technologies for producing low-cost e-methanol and sustainable marine fuels from biogenic waste. The program will be rounded off by a presentation on power-to-materials—sustainable CCU business models.
Intensive networking rounds off the waste fermentation day: there are plenty of opportunities for discussion during the breaks and at the accompanying exhibition. The joint dinner and supporting program also provide space for in-depth and stimulating conversations.
The event concludes on the third day with the traditional educational trip to two practical facilities in the region.
