No. 01/2013 – Memorandum on Bio-waste Management sent to EU Commissioner Janez Potočnik

The European Compost Network ECN together with the European Environmental Bureau EEB has been calling for urgent actions by the EU Commission to settle regulatory measures to support effectively sustainable Bio-waste Management in all European Member States. ECN and EEB sent a ‘Memorandum on Bio-waste’ to the EU Commissioner Janez Potočnik for asking to strengthen the work of the EU Commission to develop a consistent strategy and policy framework for the management of bio-waste in Europe.
